RockSpring Nets
Our patented wooden nets weigh less than most carbon fiber/fiberglass nets of equal size. That’s pretty awesome and we don’t think its been done before!
RockSpring Nets was founded on the principle that you should, FIGHT THE FISH, NOT THE NET. We set out to make a better net by making a better handle. A net handle which offered exceptional control and superb strength while lessening its weight.
We identified a height to width ratio which made for a superior grip and incorporated that into our net handles. Although the handle mass increased, an innovative solution allowed us to reduce the weight and create one of the lightest nets, for its size, we have ever seen.

We use North American hardwoods to craft stunning landing nets that are lighter than most other nets of the same size. Our extensive testing has repeatedly shown RockSpring Nets to have superb strength! Rest assured, RockSpring Nets will land any fish that fits into your net.
Our nets are also built to last. Cherry, Maple and Walnut are used in handcrafting RockSpring Nets. These species are chosen for their properties, abundancy and natural beauty. Our exterior grade adhesives and finish have withstood the test of time. We use 100% pure natural tung oil as a finish. This all natural drying oil, which is one of the most water-resistant finishing oils, is produced by extracting the oil from the seed of the tung tree. The benefit of using tung oil is the ease of application and its all natural non-toxic properties . Lets face it, your net is getting slammed against rocks, shoved in mud and being dragged through briars. No finish can withstand those rough elements, so its imperative the finish be easily repairable. Pure all natural tung oil does just that!

Unlike carbon fiber, fiberglass and aluminum nets, the manufacturing of wooden nets has minimal environmental impact, which means cleaner streams and a healthier climate.
